Basket Weaving
Karen and Carol are returning to instruct a pumpkin basket class! Only taking 10 students for this class which will be held Sunday, Aug. 30, from 1-3:30 p.m., in the SVRCS library, 236 E. Blood drive
The 8th Annual CCDC "For the Love of it" Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29, from 1-6 p.m., at the Dunnstown Fire Hall,119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Every 2-3 seconds someone needs blood so please come over and donate. You will be glad you did! Make an appointment at redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are also accepted.
Baby Rave
Baby Rave is a family-friendly dance party created especially for little ones ages 0-4 and the people who love them most. On Aug. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at Bald Birds Brewing Company, families can enjoy music from a live DJ, kid-themed drinks and snacks, dancing, lights and a fun atmosphere designed for tiny feet and big energy. More than just a party, Baby Rave is a fundraiser supporting Roads to Peace in Lock Haven, with proceeds going toward helping domestic violence victims and their families. We wanted to create an event that brings the community together in a joyful, welcoming space while also making a meaningful impact for local women and children who need support.
