LOCK HAVEN -- Families, history enthusiasts and visitors from across the region gathered at Riverview Park for the inaugural Clinton County Celebrates History: America250, hosted by the Dunnstown Fire Company and Woodward Township.
Held on Sunday, July 12, the free community event celebrated America's rich history while highlighting Clinton County's own historical heritage through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, local vendors, games, music and educational activities for all ages.
One of the event's featured attractions was the Journey Through Time adventure.
Participants picked up a map at the gazebo before exploring the event and then traveled to eight historical locations throughout Clinton County. Those who completed the self-guided historical tour and documented each stop with photos received a special commemorative gift courtesy of Addie's, Inc.
The event brought history to life by encouraging attendees of all ages to step back in time, learn about the nation's founding and discover the stories that have shaped Clinton County over the centuries.
