Meet and Greet with final city manager candidate cancelled

LOCK HAVEN -- The final of three meet and greets for candidates who applied for the vacant Lock Haven City Manager position has been cancelled.

The meet and greet was slated for Thursday night in council chambers.

City Planner/Interim City Manager Abbey Roberts provided the following statement regarding the cancellation:

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Community Meet & Greet with a City Manager candidate, scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 7-8 p.m., is cancelled. The City of Lock Haven is attempting to reschedule the event to a later date, if possible. The city appreciates the community's involvement in this process so far and apologies for any inconvenience this may cause."

Two other candidates have been interviewed by council, its hiring committee and met with city staff earlier this week.
