The Bucktail Boys Booster Club successfully sold over 200 chicken dinners Saturday afternoon, setting up and cooking at the Flaming Foliage Lot in Renovo. With many Bucktail assistant coaches as well as junior high coach, Bruce Ransom, grilling the chicken, many student athletes were on hand selling various fundraising activities, as well as preparing and even delivering some of the dinners. The group spent the better part of all day Saturday running the event. The boys varsity program is currently undergoing a late off-season head coaching search, after Kevin Ransom resigned in late June. Above, Mckenna Phillips, Christover Mace and Marvus Robinson were as friendly as they were efficient, greeting people and helping to serve their dinners throughout the day. At right, coaches and assistants of all boys sports took part in cooking the chickens on the grill.
