Fireflies
All families are invited to attend a firefly class presented by the Penn State Master Gardeners on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to noon! Learn all about these beautiful insects and have a fun craft to follow! Program is free, and held at the SVRCS, 236 E. Main St., Loganton. The Clinton County chapter of the Pa School Retirees is having their annual Not Going Back To School Picnic on Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., at Grove Community Park. More information to follow.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands will be open on Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area.
