Bowes Reunion
Descendants of Harmon and Anna Bowes reunion will be on Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Liberty Township Sportsmens Club, 1140 Marsh Creek Road, Howard, Pa. Meat will be provided, please bring a dish to share. Social gathering begins at 11 a.m., lunch at 12:30 p.m.
Class of 1964
The Class of 1964 at Lock Haven High School and Immaculate Conception High School will meet for their monthly luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 1 p.m., at the Gamble Farm in Jersey Shore. All class members and their guests are invited. Call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821 to make your reservations.
Steel Horses for Real Horses
Steel Horses for Real Horses, a Heroes & Horses benefit ride, will take place on Aug. 23. Sponsored by the Jersey Shore American Legion Riders, the event will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the legion, 320 Seminary St., Jersey Shore. Cost is $15 per bike and passenger. Breakfast sandwiches will be available before the ride for $5 and a hearty meal will be served after the run. This is a non-structured run. For more info email americanlegionriders36@gmail.com.
Cash Bingo Events
Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station on 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs. Bingo will be held on Aug. 10, 17 and 24.
KBR Bingo and More holds Bingo every Tuesday night at the Piper Airport Museum's 3rd floor, Lock Haven. Early Bird game at 6:15 p.m., and regular Bingo at 6:30 p.m.

70th Birthday Celebration
LHHS Class of 1974 will be having a celebration on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 5-9 p.m., at the Sons of Italy patio. There will be a cash bar and food truck available. For questions, contact Cindy (Anderson) Love at 570-660-2012.
Twisted Racquet-Tears Concert
The Twisted Racquet-Tears will host a fundraising concert for Artpost Awareness on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 1-6 p.m., at the Beech Creek Fire Company social hall.
