Summer
Concerts in Lemont
Lemont Village Green will have their free Summer Concerts on the Green, 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. The concerts will be held each Friday evening, from 7:30-9 p.m. The Friday, Aug. 14, concert will feature Mary Madigan, Ian Marshall and Joe Pillot. Scout Troop 367 will sell ice cream cones each week for a donation to the troop. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for your comfort!
Class of 1961
BEN Class of 1961 will be having their monthly luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 11:30 a.m., at TA Travel Center, 875 N. Eagle Valley Road, Milesburg. All classmates and guests are invited.
Steel Horses for Real Horses
Steel Horses for Real Horses, a Heroes & Horses benefit ride, will take place on Aug. 23. Sponsored by the Jersey Shore American Legion Riders, the event will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the legion, 320 Seminary St., Jersey Shore. Cost is $15 per bike and passenger. Breakfast sandwiches will be available before the ride for $5 and a hearty meal will be served after the run. This is a non-structured run. For more info email americanlegionriders36@gmail.com.
