Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed during Grange Fair week to help in the Centre Home Care Blood Pressure Screening booth. Volunteers are needed for two hour shifts running from noon to 2 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers are needed each day Aug. 21-Aug. 29, (but not on Sunday, Aug. 23.) Volunteers can sign up for a shift by calling Brenda at 814-810-0088.
LHHS and ICHS 1955
LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1955 will hold their monthly luncheon on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 12 p.m., at Santino's in Jersey Shore. All classmates and their guests are welcome.
Helen Day
Collection
The Clinton County Historical Society has recently received a number of paintings by local artist Helen Day, and is preparing a display of her works. We know there are many of Helen's paintings in the community, and are inviting private collectors to loan their pieces on a temporary basis, up to three months. The pieces will be displayed and labeled as a temporary loan with the loaner's name included, if desired.
