All-You-Can-Eat Breakfasts
The Bellefonte Knights of Columbus will host All-You-Can-Eat breakfasts on Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, Dec. 20, Jan. 17, Feb. 21, March 21, April 18 and May 16 from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Price is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 and free for children under 7. The menu includes orange juice, bacon, sausage, potatoes, eggs, French toast, pancakes, sausage gravy, hot syrup, peaches, waffles, coffee and hot chocolate. They make specialty eggs and Blueberry or Chocolate chip pancakes upon request. Please come enjoy a great breakfast at the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus Home at 315 Stoney Batter (up the hill from Dollar General). Eat in and Take out is available.
Milesburg Bingo
The Milesburg Lions will not be holding their weekly Bingo at the Milesburg Community Center on Aug. 27 because of Grange Fair. Bingo will resume on Thursday, Sept. 3. Doors open at 5 p.m., and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.
Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
Aug. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Flemington. St. Luke's will be serving root beer floats.
Sept. 3, from 12-5:30 p.m., at the American Philatelic Society, Match Factory, Bellefonte.
Ballroom Dancing
The Centre County Ballroom dance will be on Sept. 13 at the Mt. Nittany UM Family Activity Center, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College. The dance will be from 2-5 p.m. Zupe will be providing the music and we ask you to bring a snack to share. Text/Call Rod at 717-543-8348 for more info.
