Monday, Aug. 3:

-- Woodmen Life hot dog and corn roast for members at Bald Eagle State Park at 6 p.m. All members and their families are invited to the picnic. Bring a covered dish to share. Call Larry Butler at 570-726-6635 for info.

-- Drawing class at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Class is free for those age 12 and older and runs from 4:30-6 p.m. Those who want to learn to draw are invited, as well as those with more experience who would like to learn to enhance their drawing skills and techniques. The drawing class is held each Monday.

-- Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek is open from 3-7 p.m. Call 570-962-2048 for info.

-- Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs.

-- Clinton County Fair runs through Aug. 8. Today's line-up includes Elvis tribute artist Ryan Pelton performing from 7:30-9 p.m. at the main stage pavilion. Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Tuesday, Aug. 4:

-- Milesburg Food Bank is open from 1-3 p.m. This food distribution is held the first Tuesday of each month at the Milesburg Presbyterian Church.

-- Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek is open from 3-7 p.m. Call 570-962-2048 for info.

-- Clinton County Fair runs through Aug. 8. Today is Senior Citizen's Day. Free admission and parking for those 62 and older. Senior Bingo at 11 a.m. Sizzling Seniors Talent Show at 3 p.m. Charles Lee concert at 2 p.m. Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

-- Bring your family to Talleyrand Park/waterfront area on Dunlap Street for National Night Out with the Bellefonte Borough Police Department from 5-8 p.m.! There is truly something for everyone to enjoy throughout the evening. You can check out Fire Department, EMS and military vehicles up close, let the kids enjoy the petting zoo and face painting or try your luck at the dunking booth. With delicious food, fun games and great community activities, it's the perfect chance to connect. Come out, say hello to our local first responders and let's celebrate our wonderful community together.

Wednesday, Aug. 5:

-- Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting at noon at Mill Hall United Presbyterian Church. Come see all the beautiful items our needleworkers have crocheted and knitted. A free lunch is provided for those who come. Yarn (or monetary donations to buy more yarn) donations are always accepted and can be used by our needleworkers as long as it is clean and smoke free. -- Blood Drive, 12:30-6 p.m., at the Howard fire hall. Donors of all blood types are needed!

-- Clinton County Fair runs through Aug. 8, 2026. Today is Kiddies Day at the Fair! Kids activities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rides begin at 1 p.m. Get your special ride coupons at the fair office before buying a ride wristband. Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

-- Millbrook Playhouse presents "Gutenberg, The Musical" running through Aug. 9 in the Poorman Cabaret. The matinee begins at 2 p.m. with another showing at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 6:

-- Senior Cheer Club meeting beginning at noon at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Special guests will be the BC American Legion showing how to properly fold the flag. Bring a covered dish to share, your own drink and wrapped items for the Bingo games. Anyone age 55+ is invited to come to Cheer Club regardless of where you live! Good food, fellowship and fun!

-- Milesburg Lions Bingo every Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.

-- Clinton County Fair runs through Aug. 8. Today's line-up includes Bullride Mania. Nightly drawing at 9:30 p.m. at the Aux. Stage. Kids Pedal Tractor Pull at 7 p.m. Rides begin at 5 p.m.

Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Friday, Aug. 7:

-- Jay T. Vonada will be performing, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., at the Arts and Crafts Fair in Bellefonte. Come catch his one man band act.

-- Old School Market, former Rote Elementary at East End Mountain Road in Mill Hall, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday.

-- Lock Haven's Summer Concert Series as part of LH Jams on Main Street featuring Ted McCloskey and the Hi-Fis and also Velveeta. Visit www.lockhavenpa.gov for a concert schedule.

-- Lemont Village Green concert, 7:30-9 p.m., featuring Porch Party. Check the website, www.lemontvillage.org, after 5 p.m. for weather conditions. Lightning will cause the concert to be moved indoors to the Granary. The concerts are free. Scout Troop 367 will have ice cream cones available beginning at 7 p.m. Your monetary donation for the cones will help the troop with their scouting activities. The concerts are held at the Lemont Village Green, 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont.

-- Clinton County Fair runs through Aug. 8. Today is Veteran's Day at the Fair! Veterans receive free admission and free parking. A Veterans program will be held at 4 p.m. at the Main Stage Pavilion. Today's line-up includes the giant ice cream sundae, Nightly drawing at 9:30 p.m. at the Aux. Stage, pie eating contest and a hot dog eating contest. Races will be held at the race track. Rides each evening at the fair from 5 p.m. Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Saturday, August 8:

-- LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1957 meet on the second Saturday of each month at Restless Oaks at 9 a.m. Classmates and guests are welcome.

-- Hunter-Trapper Education Course from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Company. Pre-registration was required.

-- Centre Hall Fire Company's Car, Motorcycle, Tractor and Craft Show at the fire station, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

-- LHHS Class of 1974 will be having a 70th birthday celebration from 5-9 p.m., at the Sons of Italy patio. There will be a cash bar and food truck available. For questions, contact Cindy (Anderson) Love at 570-660-2012.

-- Final day of the 2026 Clinton County Fair. Fairground Parade begins at 12:30 p.m. 4-H and FFA Awards program at 2:30 p.m., Livestock Sale at 3 p.m. in the Show Arena. Rides start at 1 p.m. today. Exhibit buildings are open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
