-- Howard Area Lions Food Bank distribution, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the former Beech Creek Elementary School. Bring a sturdy box along and any empty egg cartons you have. Volunteers are needed to help at the food bank since many Lions are parking cars at Grange Fair this week. You don't have to be a Lion to volunteer!
-- Drawing class at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Class is free for those age 12 and older and runs from 4:30-6 p.m. Those who want to learn to draw are invited, as well as those with more experience who would like to learn to enhance their drawing skills and techniques. The drawing class is held each Monday.

-- Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs.

-- Join the Clinton County Herb Guild at 6 p.m. at the Porter Township Park in Lamar. Deb Liguori and James Randall will be doing a program on Understanding Pollinator Gardens and Bee Habitat. -- The early birder sees the birds at Bald Eagle State Park! Experience an unpredictable morning of bird watching beginning at 10 a.m., and become acquainted with birds that migrate through or inhabit central Pa. Binoculars will be available to loan on a first-come, first-serve basis, or you can bring your own. All levels of birding experience are welcome. Meet at the Winter Launch Parking Lot for the one hour walk.
-- Red Cross Blood Drive is being held from 1-6 p.m. at the Porter Township Community Building at 216 Spring Run Road, Mill Hall. There is a nationwide shortage of blood reserves and donors in August will receive a $20 Amazon emailed gift card. Please consider donating!

-- The Covenant Cafe, an activity group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, will be meeting from 1 to 3 p.m. at Riverview Park in Woodward Township. Participants can meet at the park at 1 p.m. and those who wish to carpool can meet at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. If the weather is inclement, the meeting will be held at the church. The group will have a pizza party followed by a drumming activity led by volunteer Kitty Oechler and a game of "Granny Pants" led by volunteer Deb Moore.
Participants in this group are given an opportunity to be involved in socially and physically stimulating programs which will help them remain as active as possible. Individuals and families who are interested in being involved in this free program, which meets the first and third Tuesday of each month, are invited to call Fran Decker, MSW, at 570-263-2084 for info.

-- Helping Hands will be open from 6-7:30 p.m. at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the area. Helping Hands is usually open on the third Wednesday of each month. -- New Love's mobile food pantry giving out free food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek. Bring your own bags if you want.

-- Join the naturalist at Hyner Run State Park to learn more about everyone's feathery friends. Topics will include the different birds that live at Hyner Run, how to identify them and some features that make them unique. There will also be a craft. The program runs from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Meet beside the pool.
-- Join the Hyner Run State Park naturalist to learn about the work the Civilian Conservation Corps did in the 1930's and 1940's in the area, the culture in these camps and how it prepared some to be well-disciplined World War II veterans. The program runs from 8-9 p.m. Meet at the amphitheater by the pool and please bring a lawn chair.
