MONDAY

-- Drawing class at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Class is free for those age 12 and older and runs from 4:30-6 p.m. Those who want to learn to draw are invited, as well as those with more experience who would like to learn to enhance their drawing skills and techniques. The drawing class is held each Monday.

-- Friendship Community Library in Beech Creek is open from 3-7 p.m. Call 570-962-2048 for info.

-- Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs.

-- Kids Day at Centre County Grange Fair. Children through high school age are admitted free until 4 p.m. Reduced price rides. Rides open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. until closing. Centre Boot Company sponsoring Line Dancing, 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the Grange Fair Rodeo at 7 p.m. Gloryway at the grandstand at 8 p.m.

TUESDAY

-- St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Flemington is having a blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-register on the Red Cross site. Walk-in donors are always welcomed! St. Luke's will be serving their famous root beer floats!

-- Blood Drive at Watermarke Church, Zion Road, Bellefonte, from 12-5:30 p.m.

-- Flemington First Church of Christ's Clothing Center will be open every Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. For more information call Dyann Shilling at 570-263-2726.

-- Clinton County chapter of the Pa School Retirees is having their annual Not Going Back To School Picnic from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Grove Community Park.

WEDNESDAY

-- St. Paul Food Pantry, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, is open from 9-11 a.m. No documentation required. Call 570-748-7932 for more info. The Food Pantry is open on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

-- LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1955 will hold their monthly luncheon at 12 p.m. at Santino's in Jersey Shore. All classmates and their guests are welcome.

-- Covenant UM Church's Walk by Faith program, 6 p.m., at Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Meet at the former train station. Bring a friend, walk for exercise and fellowship with others. Weather permitting! THURSDAY

-- LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1964 will meet for their monthly luncheon at 1 p.m. at the Gamble Farm in Jersey Shore. All class members and their guests are invited. Call Donna Barton at 570-748-6821 to make your reservations.

-- Milesburg Lions Club's Bingo won't be held because of Grange Fair. Bingo will resume on Sept. 3. Bingo is held each Thursday night at the Milesburg Community Center. Doors open at 5 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:45 p.m.

-- Old School Market at East End Mountain Road in Mill Hall, the former Rote Elementary, will have a benefit auction for David Fisher starting at 3:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

-- Old School Market, former Rote Elementary at East End Mountain Road in Mill Hall, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Friday. A grocery auction will be held beginning at 5 p.m.

SATURDAY

--Baby Rave is a family-friendly dance party created especially for little ones ages 0-4 and the people who love them most. On Aug. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at Bald Birds Brewing Company, families can enjoy music from a live DJ, kid-themed drinks and snacks, dancing, lights and a fun atmosphere designed for tiny feet and big energy. More than just a party, Baby Rave is a fundraiser supporting Roads to Peace in Lock Haven, with proceeds going toward helping domestic violence victims and their families. We wanted to create an event that brings the community together in a joyful, welcoming space while also making a meaningful impact for local women and children who need support.

SUNDAY
