LOCK HAVEN -- Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. welcomed large crowds on Friday evening for its first-ever Christmas in July celebration, its Final Friday theme for July, transforming the city into a festive destination filled with entertainment, local businesses, vendors and family-friendly activities.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of attractions, including a petting zoo, a mermaid in a koi pond, live demonstrations by Ian Temons Mixed Martial Arts, a magic show, Polynesian entertainment, vendors and exhibitors and appearances by Princess Belle, the Elf on the Shelf on Summer Vacation and the Grinch.
Additional activities included free popcorn at SWC Realty, a bounce house and Christmas ornament decorating provided by Beyond The Bell for Clinton County children, a live DJ and special events hosted by downtown businesses including The Apothecary, The Bus Stops Here, Caramia's ReLoved Fashion, Addie's Inc. and RachelK Creations.
The celebration also featured live music throughout downtown, including a country band performing in Triangle Park and a rock band performing in front of Stella A's.
