Genealogical Society
The Clinton County Genealogical Society's September meeting will have a presentation by Lou Bernard on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m., in the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., Lock Haven. His topic will be "The Tiadaghton Declaration of Independence-The Fair Play Men Story." The presentation is open to the public. A short Society meeting will follow the presentation.

The Bingo for Ross Library's Bookmobile Campaign will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, with doors opening at 11 a.m. and games starting at 1 p.m., in the KBR Bingo Hall, 3rd floor, 1 Piper Way, Lock Haven (with elevator and parking). The fun includes a basket raffle, 50-50, rip tickets and food by Citizens Hose Co. Tickets at $20 are available at The Bus Stops Here store, 25 E. Main St.; Clinton County Economic Partnership, 212 N. Jay St.; from any Downtown Lock Haven Rotary Club member; at the door; and online at dlhrotary.org.
Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
Sept. 3, from 12-5:30 p.m., at the American Philatelic Society, Match Factory, Bellefonte.
Sept. 8, from 1-6 p.m., at Commonwealth University Rec Center, 550 Railroad St., Lock Haven.
Sept. 16, from 1-6 p.m., at Duboistown Fire Hall, Euclid Ave., South Williamsport.
