United Way Bingo
A Cash and Designer Purse Bingo will be held at the Woodward Township fire hall in Linden on Sunday, Nov. 15. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Early Bird game starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by Bingo at 1 p.m. Designer Purses, Cash prizes, special raffles, food and drinks. Participants Welcome
Get your costume ready for the Lock Haven Halloween Parade that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, beginning at 10 a.m. Line-up is at 9:30 a.m. in the area of East Main and Henderson Street. Registration is not required and anyone can participate. The parade will end at Triangle Park where an afterparty of free children's games and refreshments will be available. In case of rain, an indoor afterparty will be held at Eastside Fire Rescue on East Church Street.
Seats available
Seats are still available on the Pennsylvania Happy Travelers' show trip to Branson, Mo., scheduled for Oct. 4-10. The trip includes six shows, 10 meals, transportation and six nights lodging. The price is $850 and reservations must be made as soon as possible by calling Judy Walker at 570-726-4426.
