Puzzle swap
Puzzle Swap and Brunch at Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte on Sept 27 from 1-3 p.m. Come swap your gently used puzzles, leave a puzzle or take a puzzle. Please be sure to clearly mark any puzzles with missing pieces, bag pieces in the box or tape the box. Enjoy some casual puzzling and brunch while you swap. Hope to see you there!
Blood Drives
The American Red Cross urges people to donate blood now. All blood donors are needed, especially those with type O blood. Several blood drives will be happening during the next few weeks that donors can attend. Visit the Red Cross website or call 1-800-RED CROSS to arrange an appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed!
Blood drives will be held as follows:
Sept. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Zion Community Church, Bellefonte.
Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Wingate Faith Church, 111 Runville Road, Bellefonte.
Oct. 7, from 12:30-6 p.m., at the Howard fire hall
Oct. 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Flemington First Church of Christ.
TOPS meetings
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) meets each Monday. Weigh-ins are at 4:30 p.m. and the program begins at 5 p.m. at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., Lock Haven. All are welcome! Call Anna at 570-660-2087 for more info.
