Senior Cheer meets Thursday
Senior Cheer Club will meet on Oct. 1 at noon at the Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Anyone 55 years or older is invited to join us. Bring a covered dish to share. Local historians, Joe Bechdel and Lynn Bitner, will be speaking during the meeting.
Veterans breakfast
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 623 invites Veterans to be honored at a buffet-style breakfast for the Veteran and one guest at the Beech Creek American Legion, 68 Wynn Ave., Beech Creek. The breakfast is Sunday, Nov. 8, from 7-11 a.m. Please RSVP by Oct. 30 to Sharon Miller at (717) 870-7574.
Cash Bingos
Cash Bingos will be held at St. John's Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, on the following dates: Monday, Oct. 12, Nov. 9, Dec. 14, Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8, April 12, May 10 and June 14. Paying out $850 each evening of Bingo. Doors will open to the public for Games of Chance at 6 p.m., Food Stand is open from 6:15-8:15 and the first Bingo game will begin at 7 p.m. $20 for 20 Games. Walk-ins welcome! Smoke Free Facility. They will have plenty of homemade baked goods and items for dinner. Benefits the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus. Bingo is the second Monday of each month thru June.
