-- Bellefonte Art Museum for Centre County celebrates the nation's 250th anniversary. The show is titled "This Land Is Your Land" and highlights the work of members of the Farmland Preservation Arts of Central Pennsylvania. The Museum, 133 N. Allegheny St., is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4:30 with a major gathering on the first Sunday of each month. The exhibit is on display in September and October.

-- The sights, sounds, flavors and traditions of Pennsylvania's elk country will take center stage Sept. 18-20, as Bugle Fest returns to Cross Fork for its second annual celebration. Held during the height of Pennsylvania's elk rutting season, Bugle Fest invites visitors to experience the wild character of the region while enjoying a full weekend of food, art, music, photography, wildlife education, local traditions and outdoor experiences.
Bugle Fest kicks off Friday afternoon with an evening featuring artist Ken Hunter, who will provide wildlife drawing instruction during a special Pennsylvania-inspired tea experience hosted by Quiet Oaks PA Wild Tea. Guests can relax, create and enjoy specialty teas, savory bites and sweet treats featuring Pennsylvania products.
Visitors can also enjoy activities and vendors throughout the weekend, including Golden Feather Decoys, where Jeff Keifer will demonstrate the traditional art of decoy carving using tools dating back more than 100 years. Jorich BBQ will also be serving lunch and dinner throughout the weekend, with menu favorites including pulled pork, pit beef, cracked mac, baked beans and coleslaw.

-- Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club will host a breakfast from 7-11 a.m., at the clubhouse (in Woolrich) at 84 Harley Drive, Lock Haven. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat and is just $10 for those ages 13 and older and $6 for children ages 6-12. Younger kiddos get to eat free. The SVBTM club took June and July off from hosting the breakfasts, but they are getting back into the swing of them. A breakfast will also be offered on Sept. 19 and Oct. 17. -- One of downtown Williamsport's most beloved businesses is marking a major milestone this fall with what promises to be Bullfrog Brewery's largest anniversary celebration to date.
From 12 p.m. until midnight, Bullfrog Brewery, in collaboration with The Genetti Hotel, the Williamsport Sun-Gazette and Woodlands Bank, will host a 30th Anniversary Block Party, transforming the adjacent parking lot, known to many as Mural Canyon and the 200th block of Fourth Street into a day-long festival filled with live music, local food and drinks, vendors, family friendly activities and craft beer.

Saturday begins with a hearty, cooked-to-order breakfast at the Road Kill Cafe at the Quiet Oaks Campground Pavilion. Throughout the day, visitors can take part in a variety of unique experiences.

The 2nd Annual Hearty Baked Bean Contest, featuring wild-game recipes and historic cowboy-inspired team names' The Art of Scrimshaw with Dave Aucker, including demonstrations and hands-on practice; Focus on the Wild: Looking Beyond the Snapshot, featuring wildlife and landscape photographer Chris Calhoum and his approach to capturing meaningful images in the outdoors; A weekend stop for Penn State Ice Cream, featuring specialty sundaes; The Amazing World of Honey Bees with Kettle Creek Apiary, exploring pollination, life inside the hive, beekeeping and honey; A presentation on Pennsylvania Elk by Makayla Groscek; Live music with Matt Harrison; Exploring the Night Sky, offering visitors a chance to discover the wonders of the night sky in Pennsylvania's elk country. The presenter will be announced.
