Saturday, Sept. 26:
-- Howard Grange is having a Chicken BBQ at the Howard VFW Post 8269. The chicken should be ready by 11 a.m. and will be on sale until sold out. -- The Walker Township Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the main pavilion area of Walker Township Park, 816 Nittany Valley Drive, Bellefonte. The Fall Festival is a FAMILY FUN event! Take this opportunity to enjoy the many free activities, including pumpkin decorating, crafts, games, entertainment and scarecrow making! -- Mega Yard Sale, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Pastor Dave and Sabrina Etters home to benefit the Fairview Church. You can shop and take home what you'd like for a cash donation made to the church. The Etters live along Rt. 150 directly across the highway from the Twin Kiss Restaurant that's between Howard and Milesburg. Call 814-355-2815 for extended sale days/times.
The yard sale will not be open on Sunday, however, if you'd like to stop in you may take what you want and leave a donation in the canister. Sale will resume on Monday morning at 8 a.m., weather permitting.
-- Dolly Parton Day at Titan Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., celebrating the life, legend and music of Dolly! Titan Market is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 2042 Axemann Road, Bellefonte. Many craft and produce vendors are set up in the old Cerro Building. Call 814-404-7422 for info or to become a vendor.

Sunday, Sept. 27:
-- Trinity Reformed Church to celebrate 150th Anniversary, 9:30 a.m. Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon. All current and former members are encouraged to attend. Call 814-441-1960 to RSVP for luncheon.
-- Country Jam at the Howard fire hall, 2-6 p.m. Bring a snack to share! Bring your instrument to play along or just sit back and relax to the tunes! A hat is passed for donations to the fire company.

-- Puzzle Swap and Brunch at Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte from 1-3 p.m. Come swap your gently used puzzles, leave a puzzle or take a puzzle. Please be sure to clearly mark any puzzles with missing pieces, bag pieces in the box or tape the box. Enjoy some casual puzzling and brunch while you swap.

-- Drawing class at Friendship Community Center in Beech Creek. Class is free for those age 12 and older and runs from 4:30-6 p.m. Those who want to learn to draw are invited, as well as those with more experience who would like to learn to enhance their drawing skills and techniques. The drawing class is held each Monday.

-- Dunnstown Fire Company offers a Cash Bingo every Monday night at the fire station at 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Bingo starts at 6 p.m. and all proceeds help to support the fire company's needs.
