City fire department sets Halloween Parade, party for Oct. 24

LOCK HAVEN -- Get your costumes ready! The Lock Haven Halloween Parade will step off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the intersection of East Main and Henderson streets.
Parade participants may begin lining up at 9:30 a.m. There will be no pre-registration, and participation is free.
The parade will travel through Lock Haven before ending at Triangle Park, where an afterparty and awards presentation will follow.
Families can enjoy a variety of activities for children along with light refreshments, including apple cider, donuts, cookies and juice.
Organizers ask that no political entries or political messages be displayed during the event.
As always, there is no cost to attend or participate in the Halloween Parade.
