Helping Hands
Helping Hands will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area. Helping Hands is usually open the third Wednesday of each month. For more information about the Helping Hands program, call Kelly at 272-209-5912.
Happy Travelers
The PA Happy Travelers meeting will be on Oct. 14. Normally the group meets on the second Wednesday of the month at the Lock Haven STEP Center at 3 p.m.
The meeting in November will be moved because of Veterans Day, and instead will be on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
