Seniors from Clinton County's four high schools were guests of the Clinton County Bar Association for Friday, May 1, 1970's Law Day -- U.S.A. observance. The pupils were taken by groups on tours of the county government offices, then assembled in the large courtroom for a talk by Judge A. H. Lipez. Here, Morton Fromm, standing at left, welcomes the group after Prothonotary Richard K. Sweeley, seated, right, officially "opened court." Judge Lipez spoke in the morning to the Bald Eagle-Nittany Valley, Bucktail and Sugar Valley school seniors, and in the afternoon to the Lock Haven High School seniors. He urged the young people to make rational decisions and to seek change by peaceable means rather than by illegal and violent means.
