LOCK HAVEN -- PA CareerLink Clinton County invites job seekers to attend its annual Fall Job Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Recreation Center, 550 Railroad St., Lock Haven. The event is free and open to the public.
The Fall Job Fair provides an opportunity for job seekers to connect face-to-face with local and regional employers who are looking for talent. Attendees can speak directly with hiring representatives, explore current openings, submit resumes and learn more about career opportunities available throughout the region.
Employers participating in the event represent a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, human services, customer service, transportation, construction, skilled trades, financial services and administrative and professional occupations.
Opportunities range from entry-level positions to experienced and specialized roles, offering options for job seekers with a variety of skills, backgrounds and experience levels.
Job seekers will also have the opportunity to learn about the many no-cost services available through PA CareerLink Clinton County, including resume assistance, job search support, training resources and workforce development programs that can help individuals prepare for employment and advance their careers.
The PA CareerLink mobile unit, The Link, will also be on-site during the event to assist job seekers with updating and printing resumes.
Job seekers are encouraged to prepare for the Job Fair by:
-- Visiting PA CareerLink Clinton County prior to the event for help updating their resume and practicing interview skills
-- Bringing multiple copies of an updated resume
-- Dressing in professional attire
-- Being prepared to discuss their experience, skills and career goals
-- Asking employers questions about job responsibilities, training opportunities and workplace expectations
