Dogwood Circle Garden Club has awarded the October Garden of the Month award to Susan Packer, 281 Susquehanna Ave., in Lock Haven. Susan loves working with flowers and has placed many colorful potted chrysanthemums, impatiens, pumpkins and gourds, highlighting favorite decorative craft and vintage items, around her home. Homemade scarecrows, a wooden wheelbarrow, colorful lights and other seasonal décor delight the viewer. Many of the items came from family and good friends. It comes alive after dark, with colorful lights and an animated scarecrow in the porch window. More photos are posted on the club's website, www.lhgardenclub.com. This ends the 2026 Garden of the Month program.
