MCELHATTAN -- Fall fun is coming to Wayne Township as the Wayne Township Supervisors and Recreation Committee prepare to host Autumn Adventures on Saturday, Oct. 24, inviting families and community members to enjoy an afternoon of seasonal activities.
The free event will feature activities for all ages, including Trunk or Treat Trail-Gating along the path near the ball field complex from 2-4 p.m. Children can visit decorated vehicles and collect treats while enjoying the festive fall atmosphere.
After collecting your treats, head to the Visitors Center for Crazy Carnival games featuring organized activities and prizes. Every child will receive tickets to participate in the games. Hayrides will also be available offering a quiet, scenic ride along the river. These two events will be held from 2-5 p.m.
Activities are located at the McElhattan Park and Ball Field Complex, 2 McKinney Road, and the Wayne Township Fire Company, 317 Linnwood Drive, in Lock Haven. The event locations are within walking distance of one another via gravel paths. Park! Stay! Play!
