Clinton County invites residents to help shape the county’s future at public input sessions

By From Staff Reports 2 min read

LOCK HAVEN -- What should Clinton County look like in the years ahead?

Residents will have an opportunity to weigh in on that question at two upcoming public input sessions as Clinton County Government continues updating its Comprehensive Plan and Open Space Greenway Plan.

The sessions will give community members a chance to review draft goals and recommendations, share feedback on local priorities, ask questions and help identify solutions to the challenges and opportunities facing the county. The plans will help guide future decisions about growth, community character, open space, recreation and other issues that affect the quality of life throughout Clinton County.

Two sessions are planned:

-- Tuesday, Nov. 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m. -- Commissioners Meeting Room, Piper Building, 2 Piper Way, Lock Haven.

-- Wednesday, Nov. 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m. -- MH STEP Community Room, Mill Hall Fire Hall, 9 W. Peale Avenue, Mill Hall.

Both sessions will feature an interactive open-house format, giving residents the opportunity to explore proposed recommendations, ask questions and share ideas. Attendees can participate at the location most convenient for them.

"This is an opportunity to help shape the decisions that will influence Clinton County for years to come. Whether you are concerned about preserving what makes the county special, addressing local challenges or creating new opportunities for future generations, your input can help ensure these plans reflect the needs and priorities of the people who live here," a release from the county said.

Residents are encouraged to attend and make their voices heard.
