The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Women’s Lacrosse Team removed the fall scarecrows and mums on East Main Street in the downtown shopping district so the merchants may prepare for the upcoming Shop Small Saturday and Haven Holidays. Rick Schulze, Manager Downtown Lock Haven, noted, “athletes from the university are some of our most valuable volunteers for downtown projects. They are an incredible asset to this community and often do these projects with little recognition. They are great citizens and we are lucky to have their presence in this community.”
