Center for Community Resources to open new Williamsport location

WILLIAMSPORT — Center for Community Resources (CCR) has expanded its services and opened additional office space in Lycoming County, located at 800 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

The space provides room for CCR’s newly added programs as well as its existing programs. The full service line includes Crisis Intervention, Intellectual Disabilities Supports Coordination, Blended Case Management, and Interim Housing programs.

“We’re excited to offer both the new and expanded programs to the Clinton and Lycoming areas,” said Brandon Savochka, CCR’s Chief Executive Officer. “This growth reflects our dedication to connecting people with services when and where they need them. We have built strong relationships with the community and local providers through our Crisis and Supports Coordination programs, and this expansion is an opportunity to strengthen those connections even further.”

Expanding on the current crisis services offered, the Interim Housing program will provide 24/7, short-term emergency housing for individuals experiencing a crisis. Individuals in the program can stay for up to 30 days while working with CCR’s Crisis Intervention Specialists to access other community resources and support services.

“After working with CCR’s Crisis Services for a number of years, we’re thrilled to see their service offerings expand,” said Jim Hicklin, Mental Health Director for Lycoming and Clinton Counties. “That relationship paved the way for the new housing program, in what felt like the next logical step. It provides a much-needed level of flexibility in the community.”

Additionally, the new Blended Case Management program will connect eligible individuals with services to support their mental and physical well-being, while the Intellectual Disabilities Supports Coordination assists participants and their families in obtaining waiver-funded services, planning, and emergency incident management.
