LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven Hospital has announced extended laboratory and radiology service hours will be available for patients in need of diagnostic testing
The hospital’s radiology department, located on the first floor, will make available extended service hours for scheduled CT Scans on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays to better serve patient schedules.
“We know it can be difficult for patients to schedule necessary tests around work and family schedules, so we wanted to make additional times available to ease access to the CT Scanner by appointment,” said Craig Allen, director of radiology, Lock Haven Hospital. “We accept orders from any physician or facility and will provide full follow up reports directly with the ordering physician usually within 24 business hours.”
Additionally the laboratory draw station located at the Haven Medical Arts Building location at 208 E. Church St. (the former Davis Building) will offer early morning access to lab specimen draws for a full range of tests, Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 a.m. and running through 4 p.m.
“If you are scheduled for a fasting blood screen or other test, you can get it done first thing in the morning, before work and then get on with your day,” said Michelle Mader, laboratory manager, Lock Haven Hospital. “No appointment is necessary and we can accommodate orders from any physician and if you need regular screens we can take standing orders on a regular schedule.”
