WILLIAMSPORT — Throughout October, car dealerships across north central Pa. partnered with Susquehanna Health Foundation for the annual Drive For A Cause campaign in recognition of Breast Health Awareness Month.
Participating dealerships contributed $25 for every vehicle sold to benefit the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center, part of UPMC Magee-Womens in Williamsport. Thanks to the generosity of dealerships and sponsors, the campaign raised $8,775 to support breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment services in the community.
Dealership partners included Bill MacIntyre Chevrolet, Fairfield Auto Group, Murray Motors and VanCampen Motors. Additional thanks go to contributing sponsors Cotter’s Auto Sales and M&M Paving & Excavating, as well as media partners iHeartMedia, Lamar Advertising of Williamsport and Webb Weekly for helping spread the word about Drive For A Cause.
