WILLIAMSPORT -- UPMC welcomes Hudin Jackson, M.D., neurosurgeon, to the UPMC Neurological Institute at Williamsport.
Dr. Jackson earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, Conn., and completed her neurosurgery residency and enfolded spine fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations focused on pediatric and adult spine disorders, neurosurgical outcomes and health equity.
Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of degenerative spine disease, traumatic spinal injuries, spinal tumors, spinal deformities and other complex neurosurgical conditions. She uses traditional open surgical approaches as well as advanced minimally invasive techniques, with a focus on restoring function, reducing pain and improving quality of life for patients with conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system.
