Explore what Clinton County has to offer with CCEP

LOCK HAVEN — There’s lots to see, do, explore and experience in Clinton County.

With a new tourism director at the helm, the Clinton County Economic Partnership continues to highlight opportunities for visitors both near and far that choose to make this slice of central Pennsylvania their next stop.

Tourism Director Kira Rosamilia has brought with her new ideas to help build on the foundation already set at the visitor’s bureau.

Most recently, the department has created a Clinton County Dining Menu which features dozens of restaurants in Clinton County.

“There’s so much to do and see in Clinton County, especially when it comes to our wide range of restaurants,” Rosamilia said. “Make sure you take the chance this year to explore all we have to offer — even if you’re from here.”

The menu is split into seven categories which include: restaurants and eateries; coffee/cafe/sweet; food around the world; breweries/wineries; pizza; bars/pubs/eateries.

Rosamilia noted there are almost 90 restaurants ranging from your average fast food restaurant all the way to those owned by your neighbors and friends.

She encourages everyone to get out and try as many local restaurants as you can.

A full copy of the dining menu can be found on Facebook at Explore Clinton County or by visiting https://publuu.com/flip-book/259600/870682/page/1.

With local events ever changing and evolving, the visitors bureau has digitized its events list.

“The Clinton County Economic Partnership’s Chamber and Tourism Bureau is working hard to make sure we bring you the most up-to-date information on events happening here in Clinton County. Be sure to keep checking the online event list,” Rosamilia said.

The events calendar may be accessed by visiting the partnership’s website — www.clintoncountyinfo.com. Currently, there are calendars for the entirety of 2024; upcoming Easter events; and upcoming events.

Outside of these new initiatives, CCEP continues to provide various staples it’s been known for — including Leadership Clinton County.

Clinton County has seen so much growth over the past year. With this growth comes a need where skilled leaders and volunteers are needed the most… and that’s where the Leadership Clinton County program (LCC) continues to shine.

The Leadership Clinton County (LCC) initiative was born out of the need to strengthen Clinton County’s civic capacity and make our community a better place to live and work.

Hosted by CCEP, Leadership Clinton County is designed to educate its participants on the value of being a leader, as well as a community volunteer.

Using the community as its classroom, Leadership sessions focus on many different aspects of local life such as economic development, health and human services, education and youth and local government, to name a few. The sessions feature diverse activities, including professional presenters, panel discussions and hands-on learning.

The partnership is also continuing to highlight its Enterprise Zone program while also highlighting other financial opportunities for businesses in the county.

The Clinton County Enterprise Zone (CCEZ) program is designed to encourage creation of quality jobs and capital investment in Clinton County. Administered by the Clinton County Economic Partnership, the program is funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.

Companies located within the Enterprise Zone are assisted through financial incentives and technical support. The CCEZ offers companies the opportunity to participate in a wide range of economic development programs.

For more information on the Enterprise Zone program, contact CCEZ Coordinator April Bittner at 570-748-5782 or coordinator@clintoncountyinfo.com.
