It Is What It Is Sweet Shop, 105 E. Main St., Lock Haven, can help you find the right gift for a loved one with a sweet tooth.

LOCK HAVEN — Since opening its doors in 2018, It Is What It Is has secured itself as the place to go for unique gift ideas and quality products.

It Is What It Is, now in its eighth year of business, offers a large variety of gift items to treat yourself or a loved one. From food items such as specialty foods, spices and hot sauces to bath and body items, baby products, pet items, pajamas, hats and a large, colorful sock wall, there’s quite a lot to browse while at the shop. The store also sells a lot of decor items and products that celebrate Clinton County and Lock Haven.

The store was opened by long-time downtown business owner Art Sanders with his daughter, Fabre, and son-in-law Larry Miller. Sanders is the owner of downtown’s longest running business, Sanders Window Fashions.

With business doing so well over the years, particularly in terms of its sweet treats, the family chose to open It Is What It Is Sweet Shop in 2021.

The Sweet Shop carries a variety of unique items and decadent products like fudges and other chocolate treats that are sourced from small vendors and small businesses up and down the east coast.
