The Loggerheads competitive swim team was honored Thursday evening for its excellent back-to-back championship seasons. The honors were accorded at a meeting of the Clinton County Commissioners. The swimmers attending the meeting and receiving a proclamation of excellence were, from left, Rebekkah Merinar, Rhys Swift, Avery Mahonay, Emily Bartlett, Erin Bartlett, Hannah Brian, Olivia McGhee, Morgan Brian, Sloane Coakley, Maia Crowell, Delaney Cohen, Gabe Coakley and Camryn Bair. In the back row are commissioners Paul Conklin, Pete Smeltz and Jeff Snyder, and swim coaches Jim Merinar and Carol Matheney. The Loggerheads took first place in the 2016 All-Star Meet and in the Greater Susquehanna Valley Aquatics League Championship in 2015 and 2016.
