Five-car, rear-end collision Friday evening

A five-car accident occurred in the west lane of Route 220 in Chapman Township Friday evening. A police report was not available by press time Sunday, but the initial report was that one car slowed down and cars behind it failed to do the same, hitting one another. As crews arrived and secured the scene, no life-threatening injuries were reported. The accident happened just before the cars reached the Aspen Road intersection that leads into Central Avenue in Farwell.
