Cancellations and Postponements
CHURCHES
— Southern Clinton County Lutheran Parish–which includes United Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lock Haven, Salona Lutheran Church, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Mill Hall, St. John’s Lutheran Church in Booneville and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Loganton– have canceled services for Sunday, March 29.
— Beech Creek Wesleyan Church has canceled all services and activities until further notice. They are live streaming the Worship Service on their Facebook page “Beech Creek Wesleyan Church” Sunday mornings at 9 a.m.
— Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall has canceled all services until Easter Sunday, April 12. All church activities, including the Prayer Shawl Ministry, which meets the first Wednesday of each month, have also been canceled. Al Anon and AA has been canceled until May 6 at 7 p.m.
— The Nittany Valley Charge United Church of Christ has canceled Sunday morning worship services on March 29. This involves Emanuel UCC, Jacksonville; Mt. Bethel UCC, Lamar; and Salona UCC, Salona.
— Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, and Faith United Methodist Church, 23 E. Brown St., Lock Haven, have canceled worship services on Sunday, March 29.
— First United Methodist Church hoagie sale has been canceled.
— The Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will not hold Sunday services for March 29.
— First Church of Christ in Lock Haven announced they will be closed until further notice.
— St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington has canceled worship services for March 29.
— The Flemington First Church of Christ Bingo originally scheduled for March 28 has been rescheduled for May 30 at the Red Eye Center. Tickets originally purchased for March 28 will transfer to May 30.
— Living Faith Ministries located at 7175 Nittany Valley Drive has canceled Sunday Worship Services for March 29.
— The Mackeyville Methodist Church will be canceling Sunday morning services and the Wednesday night Bible Study for the next few week.
— New Hope Fellowship of Central PA on Route 64 has canceled worship services for Sunday, March 29.
— Pine Creek Valley Christian Church, 26 Locomo Lane, has canceled Sunday worship services for this coming Sunday.
— Big Woods Church has canceled all services until further notice.
— First Baptist Church, of Lock Haven, has canceled all services until April 1.
— Great Island Presbyterian Church of Lock Haven has canceled all services through April 26.
— Clintondale and Mackeyville United Methodist Churches have canceled their worship services for March 29.
— Dunnstown United Methodist Church has postponed its concert featuring Aaron Kelly on March 29. It will be scheduled for Oct. 11 at 2 to 4 p.m.
— Blanchard Church of Christ has announced that the 2020 King of Kings has been canceled. The Easter musical drama scheduled for the last weekend of March and the first weekend of April will not be presented and will not be rescheduled in 2020. The 2021 King of Kings will be held in March of next year. Please be watching in February of 2021 for details about next year’s presentation.
— Blanchard Church of Christ will have no worship services at this time, but you may watch Sunday Worship Services online at our church website at www.blanchardchurchofchrist.com.
— Blanchard Church of Christ weekly Bible studies and small groups are canceled.
— Kids Kingdom Preschool has been canceled. In God’s Hands Day Care is also closed.
— Woolrich Community United Methodist Church worship services and all church activities will be canceled through March 29.
— House of the Lord Fellowship Church has canceled all services and events until further notice. Online services are available through social media accounts.
— Albright United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church, both in Loganton, have canceled services until further notice.
— Dunnstown, Swissdale and Liberty have canceled Sunday morning worship services for March 29 and April 5. This also includes all activities.
— People’s United Methodist Church of Farrandsville will be closed until further notice.
— Beech Creek Wesleyan Church has cancelled all services and activities until further notice. They are live streaming their worship service on their Facebook page “Beech Creek Wesleyan Church” Sunday mornings at 9 a.m.
— Rote and Salona United Methodist churches will not hold services this Sunday, March 28.
ENTERTAINMENT
— The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis concert scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at Eisenhower Auditorium, has been canceled.
— The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State has canceled the Sunday, April 5, presentation of “Night Train 57.”
— Howard Yearick Center Country Music Jam for April 26 has been canceled.
— Clinton Central Model Railroad Special Spring Open House on March 28, has been postponed until a later date. A future date will be selected and broadcast for media distribution when one becomes available.
— The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State has canceled the Tuesday, April 7, presentation of Calidore String Quartet at Schwab Auditorium, plus all associated activities.
— The haunted tour to benefit Cub Scout Pack 66, originally scheduled for Friday, March 27, is canceled. They hope to reschedule for a future date.
— The remainder of the Nittany Valley Symphony season has been cancelled.
— The Kettle Creek Valley Outdoor Show and Earl Brown Memorial Turkey Calling Contest scheduled for Saturday, March 28 in Cross Fork has been canceled. Next year’s show will be held on Saturday, March 27.
— The Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State has canceled the touring Broadway presentation of “The Color Purple,” which had been scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at Eisenhower Auditorium. The Center for the Performing Arts will automatically refund patrons who had purchased tickets to the musical.
MEETINGS
— Mill Hall Borough Council meetings for the next two weeks are postponed.
— Col. Hugh White – Col. John Chatham DAR meeting for April 7 canceled.
— East Nittany Valley Join t Municipal Authority meetings canceled until further notice.
— Castanea Township meeting for April 6 has been canceled.
— Bald Eagle Township meetings are canceled until further notice.
— Wayne Township Landfill has canceled all committee and board meetings for the month of April.
OTHER EVENTS
— The Sugar Valley Lions Club has canceled ham and pot-pie dinner on March 28, Cash Bingo on April 3; children’s Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt on April 11, member dinner meeting on April 13, Senior Citizens Easter Dinner on April 18.
— The Lock Haven Jaycees Senior Easter Dinner has been postponed until a later date; the Radio Auction that was set for Saturday, March 28 has been postponed until Saturday, April 25.
— TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Monday meetings are canceled until April 13. Call Anna at 570-660-2087 for further information.
— The Mill Hall Kiwanis Club has postponed their annual Easter Egg Hunt. They will be rescheduling this “Egg Hunt” event to a later date.
— Clinton County CleanScapes is postponing all spring 2020 community cleanup events including the March 28 Bald Eagle Valley Trail Fest 5K and Carrot Cake Baking Contest. State-wide April Pa. Pick It Up days is canceled and moved to May through June. — Lamar Township Tax collector will not hold office hours on March 30 and April 27. Mail your payments to the tax collectors at 78 Belle Springs Road, Mill Hall.

— Porter Township Activity Center April 4 breakfast canceled.
— Camp Cadet program that was to be held at the Lock Haven University Sieg Conference Center in June and the Golf Outing that was to be held on July 18 at the Clinton County Club have been canceled.
— The Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority’s Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event, scheduled for April 24 and 25, has been postponed. No-reschedule date has been announced.
— The Clinton County Conservation District has canceled the 43rd annual tree sale. If you have already mailed in your order form and payment, it will be mailed back to you. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Susie at (570) 726-3798.
— In cooperation with the Pennsylvania State Veterinarian’s recommendations, the Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley has canceled all elective surgeries, routine examinations, and other simple procedures that might consume personal protective equipment. The practice will remain open for urgent care Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.to noon. Any patient requiring attention due to illness, pain or trauma may be seen during that time.

— LHHS and ICHS Classes of 1953 class dinner canceled for April 7.
— LHHS and ICHS Class of 1959 luncheons canceled until further notice.
