PLEASANT GAP --Mammoth Restoration is donating it's COVID-19 Sanitization and Cleaning services to Centre County fire departments.
"Our Fire Departments are often the first responders to vehicle accidents and fires. The majority of these people are volunteers. We want to thank them. We are giving back and providing the same safety fogging and sanitization services we are doing for commercial and healthcare structures throughout Pennsylvania," says Michael Bevilacqua, founder and CCO (Chief Culture Officer) of Mammoth Restoration.
The Boalsburg Fire Company was the first station to be cleaned and fogged on Saturday, March 28. Mammoth is actively reaching out to all Centre County Fire Companies. They anticipate providing this complimentary fogging and sanitization service to all 17 firehouses. The collective value of this service is greater than $52,000. Rich Olsen, Mammoth Restoration team member and current Centre County Firefighter with 15 years of firefighting experience, is leading this initiative.
Since the intrusion of COVID-19 into our communities, Mammoth has been actively working with businesses to conduct preventative and post-exposure cleaning. Mammoth is one of only a handful of companies in the State that is qualified, properly trained, and has access to the resources required to effectively clean and sanitize properties of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Mammoth Restoration has received direction and authorization directly from Governor Wolf's office to operate and provide critical services to the community during these trying and uncertain times, as an essential and life-sustaining business. Providing quick and economical access to reliable COVID-19 cleaning and sanitization is Mammoth Restoration's major charter while these directives are mandated.
The preventative cleaning and sanitization follow the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization's (WHO) recommended protocols. All cleaning and sanitization products used are approved by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or Center for Biocide Chemistries (CBC) for use against COVID-19.
