FaithCentre gives books, games, food
BELLEFONTE -- The Bellefonte FaithCentre Food Bank will be giving away free books, games and puzzles during the regular food bank distribution on the following dates: Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday May 7. The food bank hours are Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Items will be distributed on a first come first basis.
St. Paul's Food Pantry open May 13, 27
MILL HALL -- The Food Pantry at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, will distribute food again for the residents of the Mill Hall, Lamar area on May13 from 9-11 a.m.and also May 27 from 9-11 a.m.
Because of Covid-19, Food Bank volunteers will be taking extra precautions for everyone's safety. If you would like to receive food, please be prepared to stay in your vehicle. Someone will assist you.
To make the distribution run smoothly, we ask that people time their arrival in the following way: those whose last names begin with A through F, please arrive at 9 a.m.; G through L at 9:30 a.m.; M through R at 10 a.m.; S through Z at 10:30 a.m. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and understanding.

JSSD offers free lunches for kids
JERSEY SHORE -- The Jersey Shore Area School District will be providing meals for all children ages 18 and younger every weekday.
Lunches will be distributed every Monday and Thursday at Avis Elementary School, Jersey Shore Area Elementary School, and Salladasburg Elementary School from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Children will receive seven breakfasts and seven lunches each week.
KCSD offering free meals to children
LOCK HAVEN -- The Keystone Central School District is offering free breakfast and lunch for all children of the community at six locations -- Central Mountain Middle School, Robb Elementary School, Liberty-Curtin Elementary School, Woodward Elementary School, Renovo Elementary School and Sugar Valley Fire Company. The meals will be distributed by drive-through or walk-up for all children ages 1-18 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. Children will receive seven breakfast meals and seven lunch meals per week.
New Love Center offers free take-out meals
JERSEY SHORE -- The New Love Center Cafe, 1407 Allegheny St, Jersey Shore, is offering take-out meals free of charge to all members of the community. Come to the Cafe between the hours of 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday using the Glover Street entrance to pick up a hot meal and bagged sandwich meal.
The center will be holding food distrubtions in three areas during the pandemic including:
-- In Jersey Shore at 229 S. Broad St. the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
-- In Lock Haven at the STEP Inc. office, 124 Walnut St. beginning at 2 p.m. every other Thursday.
-- In Renovo at the Renovo Fire Hall, 230 11th St., at 2 p.m. every other Friday.

Roads to Peace providing services
LOCK HAVEN -- Roads to Peace, formerly the Clinton County Women's Center is continuing to provide all services offered, remotely due to COVID-19. Services include a 24-hour hotline, safe shelter, options/empowerment counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, youth advocacy, outreach, medical advocacy, LGBTQ+ advocacy, referral information, community/school education, training and much more. All services are free and confidential. Please call the hotline at 570-748-9509 to reach a counselor/advocate.
Lycoming/Clinton Mental Health and intellectural Disabilities
The Lycoming/Clinton Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities is available to citizens of Clinton and Lycoming counties who are feeling lonely, isolated, depressed or overwhelmed during these times of uncertainty. All resources are free.
Social Distancing doesn't have to mean Social Isolation. If you or someone you know is feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, depressed or isolated during this time of uncertainty there are resources where you can turn for help.
