Foundation doles out $296,939 to agencies and organizations

LOCK HAVEN -- The Clinton County Community Foundation doled out almost $300,000 to community organizations at its annual meeting on Wednesday.

The Foundation's board reviewed each of the 62 grant applications that totaled $440,812 and discussed their intended uses before making final decisions totaling $296,939.

The 42 agencies and organizations and the amount each was awarded follow:

-- A Woman's Concern, for outreach supplies and community benefits, $4,000.

-- American Red Cross North Central Pennsylvania Chapter for home fire financial assistance, $4,000.

-- Annie Halenbake Ross Library, Friendship Library, Beech Creek, for McNaughton books for patrons, $1,893.

-- Annie Halenbake Ross Library, Lock Haven, for building improvements, $2,236.

-- Annie Halenbake Ross Library, Lock Haven, for large print materials, $2,193.

-- Artpost Awareness Inc., for one-year of vehicle insurance, $827.

-- Clinton County Police Camp Cadet, $5,000.

-- Central Pennsylvania Food Bank for COVID response in Clinton County, $5,000.

-- City of Lock Haven for City Beach, $2,500.

-- City of Lock Haven for 2021 Summer Concert Series, $5,000.

-- Clinton County Arts Council for LH Jams Festival, $5,000.

-- Clinton County CleanScapes Inc. for Community Cleanup and Butterfly Garden, $4,500.

-- Clinton County Conservation District for Conservation Summer Camp, $1,500.
