The health system's urge residents seeking vaccine shots lease refer to the state Department of Health's website to take their eligibility test before calling one of the numbers below. Hospital systems have been receiving a high volume of calls with questions and concerns about the virus. The below hotline numbers are for scheduling purposes for those under the phase 1A guidelines which are determined by the state and federal governments.
Those eligibile in phase 1A include:
-- Long term care facility residents
-- Healthcare personnel including: EMS, nurses and nursing assistants, physicians, dentists and dental hygenists, therapists, phlebotomists, pharmacists, technicians, chiropractors, health profession students and trainees, clinical personnel in schools or correctional facilities, persons not directly involved in patient care but potentially exposed to infectious material
-- Persons 65 and older
-- Persons ages 16 to 64 with high risk conditions including: cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, down syndrome, heart conditions, obesity, smokers, pregnancy, sickle cell disease, type 2 diabetes

Due to the high call volume, callers may be put on hold for periods of time and schedule a follow-up phone call.
