BELLEFONTE -- Jon Guizar is running as a cross-filed candidate for school director in the Bellefonte Area School District in the May primary election.
Jon is in his sixth year serving on the board and is currently the board president.
He and his wife, Leah, have three children, all of whom are attending school in the district. Jon is a graduate of Penn State University's Engineering program with a focus on structures.
He has been working for Nestlerode Contracting Co. specializing in bridge construction for the past 23 years and is now a senior project manager and estimator as well as corporate secretary.
