It was a great day for two little boys to be playing outside. It was a great day to spend some time with their grandmother. And it was a great day for ice cream. Yes, Tuesday was a great day all around for Jacob, 5, and his little brother Lucas, 3, as the Confer brothers spent the afternoon with their grandmother Carol Confer at the Ice Shack in Mill Hall. Actually, it's a weekly event for the three. Every Tuesday while Carol is babysitting her grandsons they make the trek to the ice cream parlor to play on the large wooden ark in the play area and enjoy a cone or cup of ice cream. It's vanilla for Jacob and twist for Lucas. They're the sons of Rob and Alison Confer of Flemington. The trio is happy to see the warm summer-like weather finally arrive and look forward to many more sunny days playing at the park and enjoying ice cream with their grandmother.
