LOCK HAVEN -- The following area churches have announced their Christmas Eve or Christmas Day service times for this year:
CHRISTMAS EVE
-- Great Island Presbyterian Church, 12 West Water Street, extends a warm welcome to their Christmas Eve service starting at 7 p.m. with music selections. The traditional candlelight service will be at 7:30 p.m.
-- Antes Fort United Methodist Church, 9 p.m.
-- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, Christmas Eve Candlelight service, 7:30 p.m. The church is handicap accessible.
-- Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 6 pm. The service will feature music by the Church Choir under the direction of Missie Lomison as well as solos by others. It will also include a piano duet by Clair Walker and Carrie Walker accompanied by Wes Lomison on the Guitar and creative dance by Kyper Shadle.
-- Caldwell Church, 11376 Coudersport Pike Road, Lock Haven, 4 p.m. The service will be lessons and carols. Safety guidelines will be followed with masks required and social distancing as needed. Dial-in worship service will also be available during the Woolrich Community Church Service at 7 p.m. using the number 1-425-436-6384 access code 366144#. Dial in just before 7 p.m. to join. This is a long-distance number, so check your phone service to verify the cost prior to joining. Once you announce yourself, please mute your phone for the remainder of the service. Also live stream on either church Facebook page during the Woolrich Community Church worship time or you can watch anytime that is convenient for you after the live stream.
-- Charlton Chapel (Lighthouse Ministry), 7 p.m. "Come Little Children," Christmas Eve Children's Service that focuses on the birth of Christ with Christmas songs sung by our Sunday School class of "Littles," musical instruments played by the teens and Scripture that weaves the 'Story of Christmas' together. The Community is cordially invited and may be viewed on Zoom by request. 11 p.m. Candlelight Service (traditional) with Communion. Bells will sound at Midnight.
-- Faith United Methodist Church, Bellefonte, services at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. services will also be streamed online.
-- First Baptist Church, 210 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, candelight service at 6 p.m.
-- First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, 7 p.m.
-- Flemington United Methodist Church, 2:30 p.m. Services will include many Christmas hymns, sharing communion and conclude with the traditional Christmas Eve candle lighting. Mask will be required.
-- Great Island Presbyterian Church, 12 W. Water St., Lock Haven, candlelight service at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.
-- Hillview Wesleyan Church, Candlelight Service, 6 p.m.
-- Holy Spirit Parish's St. Agnes Catholic Church, Christmas Mass, 7 p.m. Special music will be played 30 minutes prior to mass.
-- Holy Spirit Parish's Immaculate Conception Church, Christmas Mass, 10 p.m. Special music will be placed 30 minutes prior to mass.
-- Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, Candlelight Service, 7 p.m. Will feature readings, Christmas carols and inspiring sermon by Danesta G. Whaley. Parking is available at Erv's Meat Market parking lot.
-- Lamar United Methodist Church, 7:30 p.m. Services will include many Christmas hymns, sharing communion and conclude with the traditional Christmas Eve candle lighting. Mask will be required.
-- Laurel Run United Methodist Church, Christmas Eve Candlelight service, 7 p.m. Call Paula at 814-359-3459 with questions.
-- Living Faith Ministries, located at 7175 Nittany Valley Drive in Mill Hall will be having their Christmas Eve Candlelight and Communion Service Friday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.. All are welcome to join us in celebrating the birth of Jesus. A cookie and punch reception will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.

-- Mill Hall United Methodist Church, 6 p.m. Services will include many Christmas hymns, sharing communion and conclude with the traditional Christmas Eve candle lighting. Masks will be required.
-- New Hope Fellowship, 6436 Nittany Valley Drive, soup and sandwiches at 5:30 p.m., service to follow at 7:30 p.m.
-- Nittany Valley Charge United Church of Christ, Christmas Eve service, 7 p.m. at Emmanuel UCC, Jacksonville Road, Howard. Masks are requested.
-- Oriole United Methodist Church, 6:30 p.m.
-- Peoples Church of Farrandsville, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 7 p.m. A light service will be held the following Sunday, Dec. 26. Pastor Jack Hocker will read the Christmas Story from the Book of Luke and they will celebrate the birth of our Savior with songs and readings.
-- Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church, Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship, 6:30 p.m. Prelude will begin at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26 worship will be at 9 a.m. with prelude beginning at 8:53 a.m.
-- Rote United Methodist Church Christmas Eve service, 7:30 p.m.
-- Renovo First United Methodist Church, 7th Street Renovo, 6 p.m. There will be spirit filled worship, a children's program, candle lighting and old fashioned caroling.
-- Salona United Methodist Church Christmas Eve service, 6 p.m.
-- St. James Lutheran Church, 3242 Middle Road, Rauchtown, 7 p.m., Service of Scripture and Carols and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
-- St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, Christmas Eve Children's Pageant and worship 4 p.m.; 10 p.m., special music; 10:30 p.m., Service of Scripture and Carols and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
-- St. Joseph Catholic Church of Renovo will hold Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m.
-- St. Luke's United Church of Christ will be having a Quiet communion service on Christmas Eve from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. You are welcome to come and stay for the entire service or to stay as long as you like. Masks are required.
-- Swissdale United Methodist Church, 6:30 p.m.

CHRISTMAS DAY
-- First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, 10 a.m.
-- Holy Spirit Parish, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 9:30 a.m. with special music 30 minutes prior to services.
-- St. Joseph Catholic Church of Renovo will hold Christmas Day Mass at noon.
FEAST OF THE HOLY FAMILY
-- Holy Spirit Parish's St. Agnes Catholic Church will hold a Feast of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 25.
-- Holy Spirit Parish's Immaculate Conception Church will hold a Feast of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26 followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at St. Agnes Church.
-- St. Joseph Catholic Church of Renovo will hold a Feast of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph at 12 p.m.
