LOCK HAVEN — The owners of Pearl “the Boutique” food truck have been hard at work preparing their newest business venture. They’re happy to announce Pearl’s Cafe on Main is open for business!
The pair kicked off their opening day with many customers who flooded the business, eager to try out what they had to offer.
Located at 24 E. Main St., Heather Robb and Christie Hanna have once again created something special.
With helpers Loren Marasco and Olivia Bognanni, they offer a wide selection of food options to fit every craving.
Their menu will change weekly, according to Robb, but will have some staples that will probably stay.

“Depending on if people really love certain things — mac and cheese with the candied bacon everyone seems to love, so that will probably stay. Christie’s cheesecake too,” said Robb.
“We kept getting requests for catering,” said Robb. “This is always what I wanted to do — my family had a restaurant years ago.”
So, when the opportunity popped up, the long time friends jumped on it.
“Everything we make is homemade,” said Robb. “Baked goods, fresh cheese cake, fresh sticky buns — fresh out of the oven this morning. We have homemade soups, sandwiches, salads.”
“We’re going to keep everything interesting,” said Marasco. “We’re going to change things up all the time.”

They offer coffee as well, both hot and iced as well as cold brew. The coffee is locally sourced from Avenue 209 Coffeehouse.
Jared Conti, manager of Avenue, was there for Pearl’s opening.
“It’s fantastic that somebody is making almost a backwards leap from the food truck — having a food truck seems really out there,” Conti said. “Pulling back and being a storefront is just what we need. Having a bakery and a nice place to eat lunch is great. It’s really cool that they’re serving our coffee — they came right to us and asked if they can do that.”
The space itself has a very comforting and homey atmosphere, with tables hand made from recycled doors by Robb’s husband, Jon.
Marasco was quick to show her enthusiasm for the opening, “I’m excited for people to get in here and see (the space.) I want them to realize how cute it is and see everything we have to offer. We need to get better with our social media presence, but until then, people have to come in to see what we’re about. (I want to) see their eyes light up!”
The food truck you know and love won’t be disappearing according to Bognanni, “It’s going to be available for weddings and events like that. She’ll be her own separate entity.” The truck that started it all will still be in use!
Pearl’s Cafe on Main is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
