MILL HALL -- Railroad crossing working is scheduled to begin tomorrow along Route 64 in Mill Hall Thursday.
According to PennDOT, work to replace a Mill Hall railroad crossing is scheduled to take place April 13 through 17. The crossing is on Route 64 (Water Street), south of the Route 150 intersection.
During this work, a detour will be in place, directing drivers to use Route 64, Route 220, Mill Hall Road and Eagle Valley Road.
A contractor working with SEDA-COG Joint Rail Association will be working to replace the crossing. Work will take place over the weekend as well, the release said.
PennDOT reminds motorists to use caution near the work zone, remain alert for railroad operators and equipment, approach railroad crossings with care, and "always expect a train."
