The kids that take part in Renovo Borough's 16th Street Park Summer Program recently took a field trip to the Renovo Fire Department, Station #29, for a unique experience. The kids got a chance to take a behind-the-scenes look at some of what it takes for the company to help and keep the community safe. The kids typically enjoy crafts and games at the park but the organizers planned the outing as a special day. Lily Sporny is the supervisor of KCSD park program, Cheyenne Casper is the floater/supervisor through KCSD and Rosella Tarantella is hired through CareerLink summer program, a program created by CareerLink to help kids gain skills by working with local municipalities.
