Salvation Army moves in Renovo

RENOVO -- The Salvation Army Renovo Service Center has changed locations.
The facility moved from its 3rd Street location to a portion of the United Methodist church on 7th Street.
Fresh Express will resume on Aug. 7 at 2 p.m. as those taking advantage of the program are asked to note the new time and place.
Director Robin Davenport explained that with the new location will come a change in how Fresh Express will operate.
"Fresh Express will be held in The 7th Street United Methodist Church parking lot, this will be walk up only, no vehicles" Davenport advised.
"Participants will need to find a place to park on your own accord and plan on carrying their food to their home or vehicle. I suggest you bring a wagon or a cart. This is like how we started Fresh Express on 3rd Street except it's outside. Once again you will be able to shop and take what you need," Davenport said.
"Please have patience with us and each other as we expect trials and errors before we figure out which plan works best for everyone involved," Davenport asked.
She added, "thank you to all the volunteers and friends who have made this possible in the Renovo Community."
