Tom and Patti Long, of Howard's Boy Scout Troop 353, are shown with their son, Jon, along with their family of scouts at the Grange Fairgrounds earlier this week. Patti, her siblings and their families, are raising funds to create a Veteran's Tribute to honor all veterans who have served their country. Enough money has been raised to have the flag poles erected and dedicated at the 2023 Grange Fair opening ceremonies, but more donations are needed to complete the entire project. The tribute, which is located near the equine center of the fairgrounds, has been started and is hoped to be finished before Grange Fair 2024. Monetary donations are being accepted at the fair grounds to completely fund this project. Grange fairgoers are asked to stop by the Veteran's Tribute area and make a donation or stop by the Grange Fair office to donate.
