LOCK HAVEN -- Downtown Lock Haven is showcasing its history in a unique way.

Murals are in the process of being placed on the large electrical boxes along Main Street, each featuring a unique taste of the history of the city.

The murals were chosen by a mural committee from Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. and feature a variety of staple buildings and more.

Three murals total will be featured along Main Street, with the first installed at its intersection with Jay Street.

DLH Manager Kira Rosamilia thanked the following committee members for their help: Angela Harding, Sandy Bechdel, Joe Waltz, Jeff Brinker, Joel Long, Maria Boileau, Ashley Rippey, Mike Hoy, Brittany Brown and Hanna Stover.

The committee also received assistance from The Station Gallery, Clinton County Arts Council, Clinton County Government and businesses along Main Street.

"So glad you were all part of this," Rosamilia said.

The murals were paid for through a grant from the Clinton County Community Foundation and designed by Always A Good Sign.
