John Deere dealer holds groundbreaking

CENTRE HALL -- LandPro Equipment, a John Deere dealer, recently held a groundbreaking for its new facility in Centre Hall.

The new location, currently under construction, is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024.

In addition to having retail sales, parts and service facilities, this location will also act as LandPro's regional training center for its Pennsylvania operations. It will also be a hub for LandPro's Precision Farming Division and will feature John Deere's Agriculture, Commercial, Compact Construction and Turf product lines.

The new service shop will include advancements designed for technician comfort and efficiency. The Centre Hall location will also be the initial location for LandPro's Compact Construction Rental Division.

LandPro Equipment's CEO, Thomas Sutter, was on hand to break ground along with other representatives of the company; the Centre County Commissioners; state and borough officials along with General Contractor Christopher Kunes.
